Ja Rule is a Harvard Business School graduate…sort of. The rapper Ja Rule shares his results for his registration at Harvard Business School Online Certificate Program.

The platinum-selling hip-hop star, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, shares the completion of his online studies at Harvard Business School. Atkins, a rapper and businessman, is sharing his results with us to let us know he’s official. His plunge into learning the ins and outs of being a proper, successful entrepreneur comes four years after he co-founded the disastrous Fyre Festival. Inevitably, the festival led his business partner, Billy McFarland, in the slammer.

‘I ain’t the sharpest knife in the drawer buuuuut…,’ Ja Rule tweets along with a photo of his certificate of completion from the Ivy League institution.

According to his certificate, his focus seems to be Entrepreneurship Skills. The description reads:

“This certificate program introduces a framework — People, Opportunity, Context, Deal — to evaluate opportunities, manage start-ups, and finance ventures.”

Nonetheless, the certificate lists Jeffrey Atkins as completing the four-week-long virtual learning course.

Unlike the astronomically expensive Harvard Business School MBA program, which runs students $73,440 for the 2020-21 year, the online program is just $1,050. There are also no prerequisites for the program; meaning anyone can do it if they pay the fees and complete the coursework. Additionally, the traditional MBA program has a less than 20% acceptance rate.

Ja Rule is a Harvard Business School graduate … sort of Ja Rule is a Harvard Business School graduate…sort of.
