Young Dolph born Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr. has been shot and killed in his hometown on Wednesday afternoon. Fox13, report. The shooting reportedly took place at Makeda’s Butter Cookies, located at 2370 Airways in Memphis. The store’s owner told Fox13 that Dolph entered the store to buy cookies, then someone drove up and shot and killed him around 1 p.m. Young Dolph was at the shop a week ago promoting the business. When police arrived to the scene Young Dolph’s Lamborghini sat in the parking lot, Dolph was only 36 years old.

In 2015. Young Dolph was previously involved in two shootings in 2017, one in Charlotte, North Carolina, when he was shot 100 times, and another in Los Angeles, California, outside of a hotel.Young Dolph cracked the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his guest spot on O.T. Genasis’ “Cut It.” Since then, the Memphis rapper went on to work with T.I., 2 Chainz, Juicy J, Jeezy, Rick Ross, Mike Will Made-It, and many others.
Condolences and prayers came in on social media, including from former NFL star Deion Sanders , Gucci Mane , and Megan Thee Stallion. Young Dolph left behind 2 kids with Mia Jaye.
