French Montana made a bold claim stating that he has more bangers than Kendrick Lamar, and would be open to prove it during a Verzuz Battle.
Young Thug was not feeling that comment at all and posted a response on his Instagram story. “Stupid ass n**** say he got more hits than Kendrick Lamar,” Thugger said in a clip uploaded to social media late Tuesday, followed by a camera zoom-assisted laugh. “Fool.”

Following that, Thugger and Montana went back and forth downplaying each other’s legacies and financial stability. At one point the Atlanta rapper claimed he would call up Meek Mill and have a video sent to him which allegedly shows Montana getting “knocked out.” Montana, on the other, has not been shy with his criticism of Thuggers fashion choices.
“First of all, don’t get in your feelings, bro,” Thugger said in one clip. “I’m just speaking from the artist standpoint. You don’t got nowhere near more hits than no motherfuckin’ Kendrick Lamar.” Thugger noted that this is probably a publicity stunt and clearly doesn’t want to go hit-for-hit with the Bronx rapper.

“I don’t even talk to n****s like you, bro,” he said. “Stay in your lane, I’ll stay in mine . . . You a bitch, bro.” Montana has offered one million dollars in connection with the alleged video in Meek’s (also alleged) possession. And as for the tea about 21 Savage Montana mentioned, Thugger clarified that it was a joke and doesn’t relate to his current dispute with the “Lockjaw” rapper.

French Montana threatened to “expose” Thugger, though he didn’t specify what that meant. “This is me sober,” Montana said. “You don’t wanna see me high like you. And if you find that footage of me, tell him I’ll give you an extra million dollars. On my son’s life, you get that footage, I’ll give you a million, tell him I’ll give you an extra million dollars.”
Perhaps a Verzuz battle would be ideal in settling the score once and for all. Who do you think would win?
