Young Thug Sues Luxury Apartment For Lost Bag With 200 Unreleased Songs Worth $1M

Young Thug is suing his apartment’s complex owners for negligence and alleges that The Trace, a high-end Atlanta building where he been leasing at has failed to adequately train their employees. According to legal documents viewed by AllHipHop, on November 1st, 2020. He accidentally left a $2,500 Louis Vuitton bag next to his black Lamborghini car after returning from Los Angeles.

A fellow resident spotted the luggage and turned it into the concierge desk. The employee who received the bag then contacted Young Thug and left instructions that no one should give away the bag without approval. But soon afterwards, a different employee handed the bag to an unknown person, and it hasn’t been seen since. The bag which contained around $94,000 worth of jewelry and $40,000 in cash, and a hard drive containing around 200 unreleased songs that’s worth about $1 million U.S.

Young Thug is requesting a jury trial and seeking to recover “the full present-day value of his lost property in an amount to be proven at trial.”  It’s noted in the filing that Thug wants The Trace’s parent company, JLB Peachtree Management, LLC, to stand trial before a jury and requesting a value of funds to cover litigation and attorney’s fees. Trace’s representatives or attorneys haven’t responded to this lawsuit at this time.
