The Best Man franchise is arguably one of the most enjoyable ones in Black Hollywood and has room for another sequel.
The second installment ended with a cliffhanger and considering that there’s a 14-year gap between the first two films, there’s no telling when the third one is coming. Taye Diggs stopped by CBS’ The Talk and gave a hopeful update on the emotional series.
When asked for an update on The Best Man 3, the veteran actor said, “We’ve all been in discussions with the director Malcolm Lee. I think it might end up being a TV series, maybe on a streaming platform. But the script has already been written, so we’ll see.”
The classic franchise has an All-Star cast with Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, Terrance Howard, Regina Hall, Eddie Cibrian, Harold Perrineau, and Monica Calhoun.
