Beyoncé Drops New Single ‘Be Alive’ From ‘King Richard’ Soundtrack

On Thursday night, Beyonce finally dropped her new single “Be Alive” The soundtrack is featured in the movie King Richard. The film is about the life and journey of tennis icons Serena and Venus Williams. The movie also revolves around their dad, Richard, who Will Smith’ll play. It’s been one year since the Queen Bey released music. In 2020, Beyoncé released “Black Parade,” and the visual album Black Is King, which was a continuation to her 2019 soundtrack for the live-action lion king remix, The Lion King: The Gift.

“It feels so good to be alive, that’s why I live my life with pride,” a chorus of backup singers sing in a sweet harmony, while Beyoncé’s voice soars atop everything to declare, “Do you know how much we have pride / How hard we have to try?” “Be Alive” was first teased in the “King Richard” trailer released last month. Fans shared they reaction on twitter praising Beyonce on her vocals.

King Richard will officially premiere on November 19 on HBO. Listen
