Beyoncé slammed reports initially made by LoveBScott that she’s planning a Las Vegas residency.
A representative for the singer spoke to Variety to shut down the rumors. The report is “absolutely not true,” the rep tells the publication.
Sources previously reported that the veteran singer was planning a residency for 2020, making her the highest paid entertainer in the city.
It would’ve been nice if the reports were true though. Bey hasn’t performed a residency since 2009 for her live album I Am… Yours: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas. But without an album in sight, it’s unlikely that the Lemonade singer is going on tour.
Although Beyoncé wasn’t added to the residency rotation for next year, you will have the chance to see Christina Aguilera, Bruno Mars and Diana Ross. But in the meantime, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, and Janet Jackson all have residencies in 2019.
