Bruno Mars inked a deal with Disney to star in and produce a musical film. The movie’s plot is under wraps but Deadline reports that it will feature original music created and performed by the Grammy-award winning singer.
This isn’t Bruno Mars’ first time dabbling in Hollywood. He previously appeared in Honeymoon in Vegas and was a featured voice in Rio 2.
Mars also showcased his charisma on Saturday Night Live portraying an intern at Pandora who impersonated different artists.
Disney’s deal with the platinum-selling singer comes fresh off the heels of the studio acquiring the worldwide rights for the Hamilton film. The studio seems to be interested in musical films. I wonder what they’ve got up their sleeves.
