Coi Leray Shares How She Almost Quit Music and Lil Durk Told Her ‘Don’t Ever Stop’

In the midst of her rise to fame throughout the last year, Coi Leray has encountered a portion of demoralizing remarks having a viral song like “No More Parties.” While the track has seen much success, previously going platinum, it’s likewise accompanied floods of disdain from critics who didn’t partake in the melody or its virality.

In a new Instagram Stories post, Coi shared how colleague Lil Durk helped her with avoiding the negative feedback and forestall stopping music through and through.

“Almost gave up one day and he told me don’t ever stop,” Coi wrote on Monday. “Most artist show love from a distance on some weird shit but this man right here believed in me, believe in No More Parties and been behind me ever since. He know a star when he see one and I just wanna thank you for all your support. OTF FOREVER.”

Durk jumped on Coi’s “No More Parties” remix and their song topped at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100. Coi is presently out and about with Durk and Lil Baby as an opener for their Back Outside Tour.
