Coolio Gets off Three-Year Probation Early for Gun Case

Coolio is a free man after getting let off of his three year probation early. TMZ caught up with the rapper as he was leaving Los Angeles County court.

“It’s behind me. I just was released from probation right now,” Coolio revealed.  “I’m just ready to live out the rest of my life peacefully and productively.” When asked if he had any advice for others, the rapper said,  “Be careful. Pay attention to what you’re doing and don’t be doing dumb s–t.”

The “Gangsta Paradise” rapper was arrested on September 17th, 2016 at LAX after trying to get a gun passed security. The weapon was in a bookbag that belonged to Coolio’s associate, but it was reportedly the rapper’s gun.

He was charged with possession of a concealed weapon and plead guilty to the charges. He was sentenced to three years of probation, and 45 days of community service.
