Deb Antney Recalls Gucci Mane Robbing French Montana for $5K

Deb Antney became a breakout reality star later in her career, but she been in these streets and is responsible for breaking a countless number of artists including Gucci Mane and French Montana.

French learned that Gucci really lives the life he raps about during a visit to Atlanta to record music.

“French didn’t really make it that well in Georgia,” Deb said on The Drinks Champs. “Gucci didn’t like French. Because the first time he went into the studio to do a song with him, he paid Gucci $5,000 to get on a feature. And he was just sitting in the studio and Gucci was gone out the backdoor. Gucci just took the money and left.”

Deb Antney detailed striking a deal with Jimmy Henchman to get Gucci Mane in the music industry in FX’s Hip Hop Uncovered, so she was responsible for the rapper.

“I just gave French the $5,000,” she said before passing him off to her son, Waka Flocka Flame. What are your thoughts? Check out the interview in its entirety below:
