After 33 years of marriage Sonya Curry 55, has filed for divorce from Dell Curry 57. They are the parents of NBA players Steph Curry who plays for the Golden State Warriors & Seth Curry who plays for the Philadelphia 76’ers and their daughter Sydel Curry.
When TMZ first reported their split it was unclear, but now TMZ reports that the estranged couple is accusing each other of cheating.
Sonya filed for divorce in North Carolina she cited “ Marital misconduct” as the reason and Dell put “ Illicit sexual misconduct” and it is reported that Sonya is living with former NFL player Steven Johnson. According to the documents, Dell claims that Sonya “began her extramarital affair with Mr. Johnson during the marriage and prior to the date of separation, and she lied to (Dell) each time she cheated on him.”
Sonya admits that this new relationship began after they were legally separated and says that Dell cheated on her many times during their marriage. “ Sonya alleges that Dell’s cheating was an open secret among their family and close friends”
Although Dell and Sonya have been one of the NBA’s most prominent couples and a private family she said she didn’t want to expose the lurid details but she was left with no choice. What are your thoughts?
