Diddy’s Virtual Dance-a-Thon Raises Over $3M for COVID-19 Relief Efforts

Diddy hosted an all-day Easter dance-a-thon on his Instagram story on Sunday and it was a success.

The celebration raised $3,731,440.00 as per the official website. The money will be used to aid frontline workers in underserved communities who are risking their lives daily to fight against the coronavirus.

The virtual event included some big names like Jennifer Lopez and A-Rod, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Drake, LeBron James, and many more.

The initiative was done in partnership with Direct Relief which is a “nonprofit humanitarian aid organization that rushes critical medicines and requested supplies to communities affected by poverty or emergencies throughout the world.”

Diddy joins the list of influential figures who have put their money where their mouths are. In Puff’s case, he put his money where his feet were.
