As promised, Drake delivered Scary Hours 2 today.
The three-track project served as an appetizer for the highly-anticipated Certified Lover Boy. It featured guest appearances from Rick Ross and Lil Baby and premiered on the relaunched OVO Sound Radio, which was once an Apple Music radio show that lives on Sirius XM now.
Drake released a music video for his stand-alone track, “What’s Next,” which you can watch below:
Scary Hours 2 is the follow-up to the 2018 EP that featured “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.”
Drake gave an update on CLB during OVO Sound Radio. “CLB is currently being chef’d in every way possible,” he said, noting that he’s been putting in that work with his longtime and frequent collaborator, 40. “I don’t have an exact date, but it’s in the pot and it’s coming soon.”
The project was originally scheduled to be released in January 2021 but was postponed due to his knee injury.
