Another week means more commercial success for Drake’s recent release, Scorpion.
Earning 184,000 equivalent album units, Scorpion clutches its No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for the fourth consecutive week. The accomplishment beats Post Malone’s three-week run for beerbongs and bentleys in May, making Scorpion the album with the most weeks on the charts in all of 2018.
The last collection to burn through four straight weeks at No. 1 was The Weeknd’s Starboy between January 21 and February 11 of every 2017. Scorpion is the principal collection to spend its opening a month at No. 1 since Drake’s Views sat at the highest point of the Billboard 200 for nine successive weeks in 2016.
Drizzy currently has 25 weeks at No. 1 in total throughout his career, tying JAY-Z for the second-most weeks at No. 1 among rappers. Eminem as of now has the most total weeks at No. 1 for a rapper, with 32.
This week’s Billboard 200 remains moderately unmodified from a week ago, as zero new collections appeared in the best 10. Post Malone’s beerbongs and bentleys takes after Scorpion at No. 2, the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again soundtrack is No. 3, XXXTentacion’s ? is No. 4, and Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy remains enduring at No. 5. The most elevated graphing debut this week is The Internet’s Hive Mind at No. 26.
