Erykah Badu Announces She Tested Positive and Negative for COVID-19

Erykah Badu is confused about her COVID-19 results, which came back both positive and negative.

She made the announcement via Twitter, revealing that she’s asymptomatic but the test for her left nostril came back positive, but negative for the right nostril.

“No symptoms. Was tested for COVID. Same machine. Left nostril positive. Right nostril negative,” she tweeted. “Maybe they need to call Swiss Beats so they can do a versus between them. Funny thing is, Dr. ONLY reported the positive result. What the fack is goin on here. Rapid Test. $$$$ smh.”

The Neo-soul icon also uploaded a picture of the results in case we thought she was bluffing.

Fans questioned her motives for getting tested in the first place and the singer says it’s a routine that her whole band gets tested before live streams.

“This is my third rapid test in 24 hours. SMH. It’s routine to take c19 test before a livestream broadcast for all band and crew. Earlier I took 2 and one was positive the other neg in separate nostrils ?? We need to investigate these tests further. I want my $ back .”

Erykah Badu continued to question the legitimacy of these COVID-19 rapid tests. “What an inconvenience to be tested positive then negative 3x after within 24 hours. Same test . We understand that they aren’t 100% accurate but this is strange.”

Elon Musk reported some funny business occurring with his coronavirus tests also. “Something extremely bogus is going on,” he wrote. “Was tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD.”
