Fake Teen Doctor ‘Dr. Love’ Charged With Fraud Again

‘Dr. Love’ is being charged for fraud once again! Police have accused Malachi Love-Robinson of stealing $10K from a company he worked for. Apparently, this isn’t Loves’ first offense.

Dr. Loves’ Past In Medicine

At the age of 18, Love was first arrested for impersonating a gynecologist without a license. Loves’ practice had included holistic health services to women and children. During his “practice,” Love utilized fake diplomas, name badges, and opened his own clinic. Dr. Love and his false practices were exposed after he performed a medical exam on an undercover officer.

Love-Robinson defended his actions, after being arrested in 2016, with the claim that he never told anyone he was a medical doctor. Moreover, the fake teen doctor tried to justify his practice by telling ABC News he was shadowing doctors. However, he did not provide much detail.

His GTA Experience

In September 2016, Love-Robinson had been arrested in Virginia while free on bond and awaiting trial. During this time, he was accused of trying to buy a $35,000 Jaguar. He used his 73-year-old godmother’s personal information without her permission. This led to his conviction in 2017 and him serving a year in a Virginia jail. He was then extradited for his trial in South Florida.

Overall, Love-Robinson pled guilty in 2018 for practicing medicine without a license, fraud, and grand theft auto. During this time, the fake teen doctor faced accusations of stealing $20,000 from patients in his care in 2015. Malachi Love-Robinson only served 20 months of his 3.5-year sentence in a maximum-security prison. He was released in September 2019.

Love-Robinson Fraud Charge Today

Shortly after his release Love-Robinson found himself in more legal trouble. The now 23-year-old was booked in the Palm Beach County Jail and charged with grand theft and fraud. Arrest reports show Love-Robinson was a contract employee for a Delray Beach freight company.

Love-Robinson allegedly funneled over $9,000 of customer payments to his own account in March. Screenshots from the owner of the United States of Freight show text messages from Love-Robinson. He told owner, Daniel O’Sullivan, he “can’t say how truly sorry” he is and that he will pay the money back.
