‘Fast and Furious’ Franchise to End With 11th Movie

The Fast and Furious crew is driving to the finish line as the franchise comes to an end following the eleventh installment.

Justin Lin who directed the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and ninth is returning to helm the last two flicks.

F9 was scheduled to be released this year but the movie theaters are closed in response to the COVID-19 lockdown. The flick was delayed until Memorial Day 2021.

That film costars franchise regulars Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, and Tyrese Gibson, and Cardi B will reportedly make an appearance.

Although they’ve already announced the ending, the Fast and Furious universe isn’t coming to an end. Universal is already developing spinoff movies based on the movie’s characters.
