Fetty Wap Released On $500K Bond Following Rolling Loud Arrest

Fetty Wap been released on a $500,000 bond as he awaits trial in his federal drug case. Fetty was arrested on a drug trafficking conspiracy charge at Citi Field in New York City on Oct. 28,  before he was scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud New York.”As per the conditions of his release, he is required to wear a GPS monitoring device and submit to random drug testing. He must also surrender his passport and receive approval before traveling for tour.

Per Tmz federal prosecutors allege that Fetty, along with five others, distributed more than 100 kilograms of cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, and crack cocaine across New Jersey and Long Island. U.S. Attorney claim the drugs were first obtained on the West Coast and was transported  to the East Coast via USPS vehicles with secret compartments. Fetty Wap was a redistributor for the trafficking organization.

All the men except for Fetty Wap are also charged with carrying firearms during the trafficking operation. Search warrants found a large stash of drugs, $1.5 million in cash, two 9mm handguns, a rifle, a .45 caliber pistol, a 40 caliber pistol, and ammunition. The charges in the indictment are allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.  If convicted, all defendants could face a maximum of life imprisonment. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Nov. 24.

During the summer Fetty Wap 4-year-old daughter Lauren Maxwell passed away due to heart complications. Fetty just released his sophomore album ” The Butterfly Effect”on October 22nd.
