So apparently, Floyd Mayweather was dead serious about becoming a UFC fighter because he’s reportedly taking the first and most important step of the procedure.
TMZ Sports reports that Mayweather has plans to complete paperwork to become a pro MMA fighter. “Everything takes time. Eventually, we’re gonna apply for the license, and hopefully we can fight,” he said.
There’s no telling when The Champ plans to move forward with the application, but he did give an estimate of how much time he will need to be ready.
Even if it takes 6 to 8 months — whatever it takes. We want to make sure that everything is done correctly, and everything is done the right way.
