Floyd Mayweather broke his silence after his daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, broke the Internet over the weekend.
Iyanna, known as Yaya, was arrested for allegedly stabbing NBA YoungBoy’s baby’s mother. To top off the bizarre moment, the rapper went on Instagram live to address Kodak Black who chastised him for reportedly cooperating with authorities and referred to the boxing champion as his “wife’s” “bitch a** daddy.”
We couldn’t believe our eyes when Yaya just stood there staring in the camera with her lifted frontal but she didn’t say a word. People assume that the father-daughter duo isn’t seeing eye-to-eye right now.
Floyd responded to the ordeal with a cryptic message. “Never claimed to be perfect, but I strive to be the best father possible,” he wrote in a video of him in a ring with his son, Koraun Mayeather. The comments on the video were turned off which was a smart choice because trolls would’ve had a field day.
According to The Jasmine Brand, the all-star boxer deleted all pictures of Iyanna from his page. There’s no telling if this happened before of after she got herself in a jam. But we hope Iyanna gets it together soon.
