Harvey Weinstein is Heading Back to the Slammer Following Health Scare

Harvey Weinstein is right back where he belongs on Rikers Island following an alleged health scare.

The disgraced movie producer saw a rise in his blood pressure after he was sentenced to 23 years in prison, and was admitted to Bellevue hospital for monitoring.

“His blood pressure spiked to a dangerous level and, given his angioplasty last week, they brought him to Bellevue to be watched and monitored,” spokesman Juda Engelmayer said after Weinstein’s admission last week.

But Weinstein is back in Rikers North Infirmary Command.

This is his second visit to the hospital since he was sentenced. Harvey Weinstein was accused of receiving special treatment after he was spotted lounging and watching TV in the hospital.

But now he’s back in the slammer and hopefully, his sentence isn’t interrupted again.
