Jacob Latimore has been tapped to star in the upcoming House Party reboot produced by LeBron James’ SpringHill Company for HBO Max.
Reports suggest that Latimore will star alongside Tosin Cole.
The original House Party was released in 1990 and starred Hip Hop duo, Kid ‘N Play, Full Force, Tisha Martin-Campbell, Martin Lawrence, A.J. Johnson, and Daryl “Chill” Mitchell.
The franchise developed four installments and the last one was released 20 years ago and starred boy group IMX consisting of Marques “Batman” Houston, Jerome “Romeo” Jones, and Kelton “LDB” Kessee.
Jacob Latimore is best known for his role on The Chi created by Lena Waithe and now he’s coming to the big screen.
