After he was vocal about being snubbed last year, Jacquees secured his first BET nomination for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.
He’s up against Usher, Chris Brown, Khalid, Anderson .Paak, and The Weeknd, but he’s excited about his first nod.
The Atlanta singer spoke to us exclusively during the virtual BET Awards red carpet and briefly spoke about an array of topics in the 4-minute interview below.
Que revealed that he spent a lot of his time during quarantine working on himself and new music. “My new single features Chris Brown and it should be coming out really soon. It’s called ‘Put in Work.’ So y’all should be hearing that pretty soon.”
Release dates are all in the air due to the COVID-19 pandemic but Jacquees is looking forward to dropping a new project in September.
