Jennifer Lopez and Shakira took the stage at the 2020 Pepsi Super Bowl halftime performance and they represented for #LatinxGang to the fullest.
The fiery set included Bad Bunny, J. Balvin, and Lopez’s daughter, Emme. According to Page Six, the young singer represented the “American Dream” alongside her mother.
The 11-year-old came out of a pod accompanied by a chorus of other little girls. If you pay attention to the symbolism below, it looks like the children are in cages as they sang “Born in the USA.”
There were reports that they planned to honor Kobe Bryant but we didn’t see any obvious tributes.
