Global Road Entertainment has pulled the forthcoming Notorious B.I.G. film City of Lies, featuring Johnny Depp, a month before it was slated to hit theaters.
The motion picture was slate to be released September 7th yet is currently without a release date, a representative for the publisher said Monday. The story is based on the book LAbyrinth, which recounts the story of the police examination of the murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls.
Depp was sued a month ago by a location manager, who are involved in the production, who alleges that the actor punched him. Around the same time, he settled a claim with his previous manager who blamed the actor for burning through cash at an unsustainable rate.
