Kanye West Thanked His ‘True Friend’ Dave Chappelle For Visiting Him in Wyoming Following Twitter Meltdown

Many fans are questioning who’s in Kanye West’s corner following his explosive Twitter rant on Monday afternoon.

Ye took to Twitter to thank his “true friend” Dave Chappelle for “checking” on him.  “THANK YOU DAVE FOR HOPPING ON A JET TO COME SEE ME DOING WELL DAVE YOU ARE A GOD SEND AND A TRUE FRIEND ALL LOVE,” he captioned the video of the small entourage.

Kanye asked the comedian to say something to “make us smile.” Chappelle said, “the brotherhood is real, love is real.” To which the Yeezus rapper responded, “Wait a second, I said something [to make us] smile, man. We need some joke, something. Something to like lift our spirits.”

But we all know the 46-year-old has mastered the art of dark humor.

As they parted ways Kanye thanked Dave for checking on him.

Dave Chapelle and Kanye West grew a friendship after the Chicago native performed on The Chappelle Show as an upcoming musician.
