Kanye West Cries as Michelle Obama Embraces him in Childish Gambino’s ‘Feels Like Summer’ Video

Words by Fazhane Adams

Kanye West finally went back home to Chicago and even did an interview on the WGCI Morning Show this past week to give an explanation for his “slavery was a choice” comment, clarifying that he meant it wouldn’t have been a choice for him.

The video produced for Childish Gambino’s song, “Feels Like Summer,” highlights current conflicts in the music industry. One scene shows Drake chasing after Future as he rides away on a bike. While another scene shows Nicki Minaj and Travis Scott playing with blocks, which is ironic because the two have recently had a rift about album sales.

The most interesting and controversial image displays Kanye West wearing his beloved “Make America Great Again” cap, while former First Lady Michelle Obama hugs him from behind. The visuals presumably further supports Snoop Dogg’s claim that Ye lost his marbles because he doesn’t have any Black female figures in his life. His tears stopped after Obama gave him a hug.

Check out the video above.
