We all know that Kanye West recently traveled to Uganda to chip away at his forthcoming album Yhandi, but it looks like he’s also getting in touch with the people of the Mother Land.
This past Tuesday (Oct. 16), Ye shared videos riding through Uganda where he met hundreds of people, mostly children, who seemed to be expecting him. He also met with the elders before he was treated to a song and dance by the large group of youths.
Yeezy gave away quite a few Yeezy sneakers and the people blessed him with chants of “Kanye” .
The Chicago emcee eventually gets swarmed by paparazzi, but it didn’t stop the rapper from dancing with the kids later on that day. Kim and Ye have also met with the President of Uganda where talks of tourism and the arts were the topic of discussion.
The album Kanye West is working on in Uganda is slated to be released on Nov. 23, which is also Black Friday.
