King Von Makes Billboard Hot 100 Debut Posthumously

King Von’s latest musical effort was released a week before he was gunned down. Unfortunately, death is profitable, and Welcome To O Block marks the late Chicago’s rapper highest-charting collection.

Four songs from the project debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

The Levon James cut, “Took Her To The O” is the highest debut out of the four Hot 100 entries. The record garnered 11.9 million U.S. streams according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

The second-highest debut is his Polo G collaboration “The Code.” The streams went up 79% marking 8.4 million streams according to Nielsen Music.

His two collaborations with Lil Durk, “All These N*ggas” and “Crazy Story 2.0” sit at the 77th and 81st spots, respectively.

King Von’s Levon James mixtape re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 39, and Grandson, Vol. 1 returns at No. 52.
