Vanessa Bryant Celebrates Kobe Bryant’s Posthumous Book Release

The latest installment of Kobe Bryant’s best-selling book series, The Wizenard Series: Training Camp, is here and Vanessa is paying homage to her late husband’s work.

The book called, “Season One,” is a follow-up to Kobe’s NYT Bestselling work which focuses on a young hooper named Reggie, who dreams of being a basketball superstar.

The NBA superstar’s widow shared the news on Instagram Tuesday saying, “Welcome back to Dren! We hope you are all ready to catch up with the West Bottom Badgers for another magical basketball season.”

The book includes a quote from Mamba after the title page which reads, “To young athletes who commit to doing the hard work. The process always pays off.”

The book’s author, Wesley King, spoke about the “bittersweet” book release: “Official release day. Bittersweet without my collaborator, but grateful to see the words live on. This is a book about chasing your dreams.”

Kobe Bryant’s post-basketball career was just kicking off, from business partnerships to winning an Oscar award for the short film, Dear Basketball.
