Judge Orders Kodak Black To Receive Substance Treatment For Reportedly Violating Supervised Release

Kodak Black reportedly violated the terms of his supervised release in his federal gun case by failing a drug test, as per TMZ.

A judge ordered the “Roll in Peace” artist to spend 90-days checking into a residential program as a result. He hasn’t publicly commented on the violation but he already started the treatment the tabloid reports.

Yak was granted clemency by former President Donald Trump and recorded over 100 songs about two months after his pardon. “The music is easy. It’s just me taking my time, you know … setting my future up and not going back to prison or jail, none of that type of stuff,” he told TMZ at the time. “Y’all tell Justin Bieber I have a song for him … I got a song I need Beyoncé on … I just need her to do two bars and I got the rest.”

Since his release, Kodak Black released Haitian Boy Jack in May then followed up with Happy Birthday Kodak the following month. He teased another album on Twitter this week. “Wait Till I Drop My Album Tho,” he wrote.

The rapper was arrested at Rolling Loud 2019 on the way to his scheduled set for “making a false statement in connection with the acquisition or attempted acquisition of a firearm.”

Kodak answered ‘No’ to the question “Are you under indictment or information in any court for a felony, or any other crime for which the judge could imprison you for more than one year?” on the ATF form 4473 when purchasing about five firearms from Lou’s Police Distributors in Hialeah, Florida.

But he was under indictment in South Carolina for first-degree sexual assault. The 24-year-old is accused of sexually assaulting a girl in a hotel room in 2016. Additionally, he entered the wrong social security during the first visit which is why the case in South Carolina didn’t surface until the second time he visited and input the correct SSN.
