The famous LeBron James banner standing tall in Cleveland is officially being taken down. This decision follows the NBA superstar’s decision to leave the city and sign with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 10-story-tall billboard became an icon in Cleveland, displaying James’ famous chalk throw before a game. A Nike spokesperson said it will take days to take down.
The building owner, Sherwin Williams, is still deciding what to do with the banner once it’s removed.
The Cleveland Cavaliers official team shop already removed LeBron from the front page, and all #23 jerseys are priced for the low.
