Lil baby and his baby’s mother/girlfriend, Jayda Cheaves, are boo’d up in the Queen & Slim-inspired visuals for “Catch The Sun.” The song is featured on the film’s soundtrack and was released back in November, in anticipation of the movie.
In the Cam Budsy-directed video the couple reenacts the plot of the Lena Waithe and Melina Matsoukas produced movie, which is a rendition story of Bonnie and Clyde.
The Atlanta rapper is known for his trap records but he got in touch with his vulnerable side for this record. He previewed the visuals on Instagram with the caption, “ … Sh*t Different For Me But This Song One Of Them Ones.“
“Catch The Sun” follows the release of Baby’s single, “Sum 2 Prove” and the visuals for 1st N 3rd featuring Marlo & Future.
