Lord Jamar Wasn’t Impressed by Eminem’s Diss Record

Lord Jamar said Eminem’s diss on the new collection Kamikazewas “kinda wack,” while speaking on the Yanadameen Godcast podcast with the Brand Nubian part co-host, Rah Digga.

“To be honest, I’m disappointed in this little diss,” Jamar said. “I think it was kinda wack for an Eminem verse.”

The diss in question is Em’s song “Fall,” which additionally discharge shots at Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks, among others. “And far as Lord Jamar, you better leave me the hell alone/Or I’ll show you an Elvis clone/Walk up in this house you own, thrust my pelvic bone/Use your telephone and go fetch me the remote/Put my feet up and just make myself at home/I belong here, clown, don’t tell me ’bout the culture,” Em raps on the song.

The line is by all accounts a reaction to remarks from a 2014 meeting with DJ Vlad in which Lord Jamar talks about Eminem’s status as a White rapper and states that he doesn’t “feel” Shady since he doesn’t identify with his verses.

On his digital broadcast, Jamar announced Eminem’s reaction, paying little respect to quality, a triumph, and communicated delight that he constrained the rapper to address his past remarks.

“If he didn’t respond, I win, and if he responds, I win. Either way, I win, okay? Because you are now doing what the fuck I wanted you to do. I have made you modify your behavior. I got into your psyche,” he said.

Jamar added, “I was expecting something a little more wordier … I thought I’d get something much better.”

A few different focuses of Eminem’s disses on Kamikazehave reacted as of late. Budden, who was once in the past marked to Shady Records, said without anyone else digital recording that he’s been “exceptional than [Em] this whole fucking decade,” while Machine Gun Kelly, dissed somewhere else on the collection, dropped a reaction diss track titled “Rap Devil.”
