Mac Miller’s ‘Swimming’ Climbs Charts to #1 on Apple Music

We are all still so shocked after learning Mac Miller passed away due to an apparent overdose at the age of 26 this past Friday. Miller fans have spent the weekend tuning into his his music in memory of the late rapper.

Miller’s most recent project, Swimming, is currently at No. 1 on the Apple Music albums chart as of this Sunday evening, then second comes Eminem’s Kamikaze and Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD in third.

The Pittsburgh raised artist’s music videos have been streaming like wildfire too. Mac Miller-related visuals are all over Apple Music’s top 5 music videos.

After Miller passed away, many artists like J. Cole, Chance the Rapper, Kid Cudi, and Drake have all publicly shown their love for the late rapper. During a concert in Chicago on Saturday, Childish Gambino spoke on Miller’s death and told the his fans,

“This Mac Miller shit got me fucked up […] He was so nice. He was the sweetest guy, he was so nice. And we were both internet music kids, and a lot of critics were like, ‘This corny-ass white dude, this corny-ass black dude,’ and we used to talk. And this kid, he just loved music.”
