Mase Drags Diddy Following Grammy Speech Advocating for Black Artists: “U CHANGED? GIVE THE ARTIST BACK THEIR $$$”

Diddy went viral after delivering a powerful acceptance speech during Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy gala.

“Every year y’all be killing us man,” Diddy said. “The amount of time it takes to make these records, to pour your heart into it, and you just want an even playing field.”

Although Diddy was making valid points in his speech, his former artist, Mase, would like him to practice what he preaches.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the Harlem rapper reminded the mogul about his infamous, unethical practices during the early days of Bad Boy Records. “Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Badboy label,” Mase wrote.

He claimed that the Bad Boy CEO gave him $20K for his publishing rights and as a result, he “never want to work” with him again.

Mase claimed he was the biggest living artist from the label, clearly disregarding Lil’ Kim, but that’s not the point. The man is all about the Benjamins right now.

The “Been Around The World” rapper claims he tried to purchase his publishing back from Diddy for $2M cash, but Puff isn’t willing to do that unless he could match “what the EUROPEAN GUY OFFER him.” The other option Mase has is to wait until he turns 50-years-old for the rights to revert back to him. “You bought it for about $20k & I offered you $2m in cash,” he wrote. “This is not black excellence at all. When our race is enslaving us. If it’s about us owning, it can’t be about us owning each other.”
