Since Meek Mill’s release, he’s been taking the time out to use his platform to support those who were rallying for him when he was in prison.
In a recent interview with Angie Martinez on Tidal’s One of One, the Philly emcee revealed that he didn’t write any music during his time served because he was in a bad mood, but has over 100 songs in the vault. He assured his fans that he can still rap, and that music is on the way. But it looks like it will be delivered sooner than later.
Yesterday on the Notorious B.I.G’s birthday, Meek previewed his remix of “What’s Beef” featuring Rick Ross. “Is we beefin’ or rappin’? / I might just pop up with Drizzy like what’s…” he raps before the clip cut off, leaving the line incomplete. He probably ended off with the word “happening” since it can rhyme with rapping :Kanye shrug:
