Megan Thee Stallion Reveals She Was Shot on Sunday

Over the weekend, there were reports that Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion were leaving a Los Angeles party before the Toronto rapper was arrested on a gun charge, and Meg was rushed to the hospital to treat wounds.

The Chixtape artist has since been released on bond and has been tight-lipped about the incident. Fans were curious about Megan’s involvement and she hopped on Instagram Wednesday afternoon to provide some clarity.

On Sunday morning I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me. I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I under went surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and I am expected to make a full recovery…I was never arrested. This whole experience was an eye opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Who would want to hurt Megan Thee Stallion?

We’re sending love and light to the head hottie during this difficult time, and we’re praying for a speedy recovery.
