Megan Thee Stallion is going through a highly-publicized fallout with her, label 1501 Records. But despite all the drama, she announced that her debut album, Suga, is hitting the streets on Friday.
The hotties were happy to hear the news but Carl Crawford is trying to block the project’s release. TMZ reports that Crawford filed a motion to dissolve the temporary restraining order which is granting Meg the permission to release the highly-anticipated collection. ‘
The “Hot Girl Summer” rapper fired off a $1 million lawsuit at the label highlighting the cons of her deal, but Crawford is arguing that she still has to oblige by their contract. He also claims that Megan hasn’t paid him in months and shouldn’t have gotten the courts involved because the deal also states all disputes must be settled in arbitration.
Crawford is going to do everything in his power to sabotage Megan Thee Stallion’s debut, but there’s less than a day until the moment of truth. Are you ready for new music from Meg?
