Neil Patrick Harris and Whoopi Goldberg had a rather awkward conversation on Wednesday’s episode of “The View.”
Harris was working with Goldberg on “Clara’s Heart” in 1988 and recalled an exchange that caught him off-guard.
“You know, I did my first movie ever with Whoopi Goldberg. A movie called ‘Clara’s Heart,’” Harris said.
“She told me, I was 15, 16 years old, she told me on my last day of shooting that in 10 years’ time she was going to have sex with me,” he said.
The shocked audience members immediately bursted into laughter.
Goldberg, 62, who sat across at the opposite side of the table, giggled then said, “I might’ve!”
Harris, who is now 45, seemingly wanted to follow up on that old promise.
“He had many questions as a kid, so I said, ‘Listen, wait 10 years, and I’ll take you through it.’ In those days, you could actually have some fun like that. You can’t do that now. People get very upset now.”
Harris made it clear that he was not offended by Goldberg’s commentary and joked that he’s looking forward to it.
