Nicki Minaj Delivers a Verse on Meghan Trainor’s ‘Nice to Meet Ya’

Nicki Minaj is back! She dropped off a fire guest feature on Meghan Trainor’s “Nice to Meet Ya” fresh off her two-month long “retirement.”

Nicki teased the track earlier this week on Instagram, but she didn’t let the Barbs know who she was collaborating with. Trainor confirmed that the song the Queens rapper is featured on is her in the tweet below:

The song is featured on Trainor’s Treat Myself which also features the Pussycat Dolls, Lennon Stella, Sasha Sloan, and AJ Mitchell.

Trainor detailed how the collaboration came about on Radio.com. “We sent it with a dream to Nicki Minaj,” smiles Trainor. “I didn’t ever think that she would write a verse on it. I didn’t know if she would actually hear it or like it. And she did, and she wrote the best verse I’ve ever heard ever on it,” she says overflowing with joy. “It really completed the song and took it to that woman empowerment level that I only could dream of on any song.”
