Rich The Kid Arrested for Gun Possession at Airport

On Monday (March 15), Rich The Kid was arrested at LAX after authorities find a loaded gun in his carry-on.

According to a report from TMZ, Rich The Kid, born Dimitri Roger, was taken into custody at Los Angeles International Airport; taking place at around 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET. His arrest is due to him carrying a firearm in his carry-on luggage while going through security.  Currently, it’s unclear if Rich The Kid is officially booked and processed.

Furthermore, this isn’t Roger’s first incident Rich at an airport.

Last December, the Lucky 7 rapper was removed from a flight for smelling like marijuana and seeming intoxicated. A decent portion of the scene was caught on video. While being reprimanded, the rapper hops on his Instagram Live to broadcast the event. During the serious conversation between Roger and the airport staff, the 28-year-old rapper is seen being directed back into the airport. In addition, Roger also accused an employee of discrimination after she told him to exit.

“You on live now. Since you want to racially discriminate me,” Roger says. He goes on to add: “She trying to tell me I smell like marijuana. I don’t even smoke marijuana, woman. I don’t smoke.”

Rich The Kid attempts to use his fame to get himself off the hook. He continues saying: “The world gonna know. Your son, if you have kids, he probably know me. Since you wanna play, you don’t know who I am?.”

The Atlanta-based artist, who was worried about missing his flight, was told by authorities that the aircraft wasn’t leaving.
