Russell Simmons on Oprah Winfrey’s #MeToo Doc: ‘It’s So Troubling That You Choose me to Single Out’

Oprah Winfrey is receiving backlash for her producer role in the upcoming #MeToo documentary centered around Russell Simmons sexual misconduct allegations.

50 Cent blasted her on Instagram for targeting Black sexual predators, meanwhile the white men who were accused of sexual misconduct are walking freely. Clearly Simmons agrees with her because he wrote a lengthy Instagram post expressing his disappointment in his “dearest OPRAH.”

He started off acknowledging how good she has been to him over the years. “You have been a shining light to my family and my community. Contributing so much to my life that I couldn’t list a fraction of it in this blog.” But he did admit that he put himself in comprising situations multiple times and understands why the women have chosen to stand against him.

I have taken and passed nine 3-hour lie detector tests (taken for my daughters), that these stories have been passed on by CNN, NBC, BUZZFEED, NY POST, NY MAG, AND OTHERS. Now that you have reviewed the facts and you SHOULD have learned what I know; that these stories are UNUSABLE and that “hurt people hurt people”.
