Tekashi 6ix9ine was hoping to get out of jail today, but he was sentenced to two years.
Judge Paul Engelmayer sentenced the disgraced Brooklyn rapper to 24 months behind bars, but keep in mind he is being credited for time served which equals up to 13 months. So he will be out late 2020, around the same time as the honorable Bobby Shmurda.
Once he’s released he will be on probation for five years, ordered to complete 300 hours of community service, and pay a $35K fine.
Tekashi 6ix9ine sat there with a pensive expression as Engelmayer told him his fate. You would’ve thought he would’ve been happy for not getting the same time as the people he snitched on, but he was probably hoping to get out sooner than later.
Either way the “GUMMO” rapper has a two album record deal waiting for him with 10K Records. Do you think 69 will be able to have a successful rap career after he’s released?
