The Obamas to Produce Shows & Films on Netflix

“Advanced negotiations” have been arranged for the Obamas, Barack and Michelle, to star in their own Netflix series. The Obamas are set to create shows and movies for the streaming service under their new organization called Higher Ground Productions.

A statement from Netflix said the power couple will deliver “scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries and highlights” that spotlights on subjects and themes the president tried to reveal insight to during his opportunity in office.

The exceptional agreement was declared on Monday. The first substance from the Obamas will show up in as early as 2019, as indicated by a person engaged with the arrangement.

Netflix did not determine an exact course of events. In any case, the organization’s declaration of the arrangement said, “the Obamas will produce a diverse mix of content, including the potential for scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries and features.”

Sometime the previous president and first lady will be on camera as hosts or mediators, the anonymous source said. In other cases, they will remain off camera as producers.

Budgetary and financial terms were not revealed. The Obamas are giving Netflix significant content that will stream to over 125 million individuals. Netflix is giving the Obamas a profitable stage to remain noticeable in their post-White House years.
