The Weeknd Drops ‘Live at SoFi Stadium’ Concert Trailer

The Weeknd launched the trailer for his SoFi Stadium After Hours tour performance that’s an HBO special set to be released on Feb. 25.

The Weeknd‘s performance at the SoFi stadium concluded the dates for the first leg of his 2022 “After Hours Til Dawn Tour”, the North American leg. The tour is based on two of his recent chart-topping albums, “After Hours” and “Dawn FM.”

The tour will continue this year overseas.

The tour features dozens of interpretive dancers frolicking on the stage under the gigantic moon that his performances are known for. At the back of the stage is a dark city that lights up as he signs.

The 95-minute HBO special includes hits from albums like “Starboy,” Sacrifice,” and the record-breaking, “Blinding Lights.”

The tour was a success all around with fans posting online, raving about their experience. However, the original closing date for the SoFi stadium had to be postponed when The Weeknd unexpectedly lost his voice in the first few minutes of his performance.

“The Weeknd Live at Sofi Stadium” was directed by Micah Bickham and produced by Contrast Films. The executive producers include The Weeknd himself, his long-time friend La Mar C. Taylor, and others.
