Chloe X Halle’s debut album, Ungodly Hour, was met with critical acclaim and their stunning virtual performances were the talk of quarantine.
Their Tiny Desk performance of “Wonder What She Thinks Of Me” garnered more than 2.4 million views, so it was no surprise that they were nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best Progressive R&B Album.
Although the singers didn’t win they thanked their fans for the continuous love and support on Twitter. “Feeling so honored to be nominated!! thank you all so much for continuing to listen to the music,” they said. “Love you all so much.”
Despite their graceful and humble response, fans sounded off about the Grammy snub.
