This is not a good look for the Harlem rapper Vado.
Reality television star Tahiry Jose and her fans were shocked after a video on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition star Vado violently attacked Tahiry in a viral clip.
The video then was posted everywhere on social media, in which Tahiry had to address the situation in a Instagram post on Wednesday, assuring people that incident was not planned. She says it was an indefinite real moment and it was emotionally damaging to her.
“First let me say that I’m devasted that this will be shown for the world to see, but I fully understand that I have chosen to live my life (good … bad … and ugly) in front of the camera,” she wrote. “Let me be CLEAR for all people that are saying that this was ‘scripted’ it is NOT! As a woman that has already suffered physical abuse at the hands of a man why would I ever want to relieve that? There is no check big enough for me to EVER play like that!”
In her closing statement showing gratitude to her fans and people that have supported her: “I appreciate the love & support that I’ve been receiving since this clip was released online. I ask for just a moment of privacy as I figure out the best way to address this publicly in full detail.”
“This is not ok y’all,” Psychiatrist Dr. Ish Major, who originally shared the clip. “Never. Ever. I couldn’t believe it happened. Everybody froze.”
Other cast members on the show including Kurupt and model Toni Calvert, Hazel E and model De’Veon Waller were in attendance when it all went down.
Be sure to check out the next episode airs on Thursday night (July 30) at 6 p.m. PST on WE tv.
