Bernie Sanders Reacts To Meme-able Inauguration Day Moment: ‘I Was Just Trying To Keep Warm’

Although we lost the pleasure of having Bernie Sanders as a President (again), he did attend Joe Biden’s Inauguration and became the subject of the latest meme.

The 79-year-old was sporting a brown coat but the oversized mittens and the way his arms were crossed is what had everyone tickled.

Sanders appeared on Seth Meyers and he reacted to the now-viral moment. He claimed he was “just sitting there, trying to keep warm, trying to pay attention to what was going on.”

Bernie Sanders admitted that he did see some of the memes and from the looks of the smile on his face, he seemed to get a laugh out of them too.

The Vermont Democratic Senator was edited on to Big Sean’s Detroit 2 album cover, a scene of STARZ’s Power, and many more hilarious scenarios.

He was also asked about the contents inside of the envelope he was holding but he kept his lips sealed and said it was “top secret.”

Which was your favorite meme?
